Tasks
- Recruitment and selection
- Member of the B&C leadership team
- Responsible for supporting and potentially leading delivery on corporate projects as agreed by MD
- Identify and understand your customer needs within your defined market areas.
- Ensure that your team(s) recruitment services and USP’s are aligned with customers current and future needs
- Devise, communicate and implement a 3 years plan for your business area
- Win, keep and develop ad hoc customers (small, medium and large) by maintaining and building lasting relationships/networks with customers.
- Proactively seek and nurture personal key customer relationships
- Ensure effective market mapping and appropriate client targeting for each team
- Ensure customer information is shared across the wider business to leverage sales.
- Work in partnership with Adecco Group to maximise customer opportunities
- Regularly feed up market trends and research for input into tactical operational strategy.
- Devise, implement and review quality candidate strategy that lives and breathes through the teams
- Devise a review process to ensure team(s) and own customer relationships developed to trusted advisor status
- Feed into overall business strategy
- Monitor trends and developments in services, prices and delivery models and feed up with evidence and recommendation for inclusion in company strategy
- Ensure cross selling across disciplines, increasing customer’s awareness of B&C and Adecco Group full product offering.
- Create and implement an effective sales strategy for your teams in line with the overall business strategy.
- Create a strategic and tactical business plan for your teams for the short, medium and long term
- Use market knowledge to contribute to the overall company strategy
- Ensure effective resource planning to maximise the opportunities in line with commercial drivers, business models etc.
- Taking a lead on production of proposals
- Work with MD to develop budgets, engaging direct reports in building and roll out
- Writing, owning and driving performance targets against budgets
- Awareness of and ensure appropriate response to commercial drivers and KPIs to maximise growth in profit
- Maintain awareness of costs (staff and selling), displaying appropriate controls to maximise efficiency
- Apply appropriate tactical activities to drive Fees
- Ensure appropriate pricing strategy rolled out with control measures in place
- Apply appropriate analysis and ownership of P/L and communicated upwards
- Ensure events and marketing activity across your teams are budgeted in line with Fee trending
- Lead min 2 managers and/or several divisions
- Attract and build a pipeline of future talent with succession plans for key roles
- Conduct recruitment and retention initiatives to reduce attrition
- Conduct effective appraisals and competency development to plan for individual development and progression through the roles and remits structure
- Drive effective performance management through your team in line with company processes and procedures whilst ensuring high performance levels are maintained.
- Ensure your management practice is in line with HR Group policy and procedure
- Awareness and capability of conflict resolution to a cooperative outcome
- Use of effective coaching techniques to improve management by exception
- Ensure team training needs are effectively execute
- Utilise different management styles with staff
- Accountability for engagement within your team to manage negative attrition
- Track and manage performance of direct reports including setting performance targets, objectives and KPI’s.
- Ensure talent reviews for all staff, making sure career path lives and breathe
